Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ALF Connect's AI receptionist service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

ALF Connect provides an AI-powered phone receptionist service designed for Assisted Living Facilities. The Service includes:

  • Automated call answering and routing
  • Appointment scheduling and calendar integration
  • CRM and contact management
  • SMS and email notifications
  • Analytics and reporting

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

Subscription and Payment

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • No refunds for partial months
  • 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the Service to transmit spam or malicious content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate another person or entity

Call Recording and Consent

By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All calls may be recorded for quality assurance and training
  • You are responsible for complying with call recording laws in your jurisdiction
  • You will inform callers that calls may be recorded
  • Recordings are stored securely and retained per our Privacy Policy

Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, designs, and content, is owned by ALF Connect and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the software
  • Remove any proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks without permission

Support Policy

Included Support

All monthly subscriptions include up to 2 hours of support per month for:

  • Technical troubleshooting and bug fixes
  • System configuration questions
  • Performance optimization
  • Basic reporting and analytics assistance
  • Minor adjustments to existing workflows

Response Times

  • Small ALF Plan ($197/mo): 48-hour email response time
  • Medium ALF Plan ($297/mo): 24-hour email response time
  • Large ALF Plan ($497/mo): Same-day email response time

Additional Support

Support hours beyond the included 2 hours per month are billed at $150 per hour. This includes:

  • Custom workflow development and modifications
  • Advanced AI prompt customization
  • Integration consulting and implementation
  • Strategic planning and optimization sessions
  • Training sessions for your team

Emergency Support

For critical system outages affecting your ability to receive calls, we provide 24/7 emergency support for all plan tiers at no additional cost. Call our emergency hotline at (321) 947-6372.

Out of Scope

The following are not covered under included support and require additional billing:

  • Custom feature development
  • Third-party integrations not included in your plan
  • Training beyond initial onboarding
  • Issues caused by your equipment, network, or third-party services
  • Consulting services unrelated to technical support

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for:

  • Scheduled maintenance downtime
  • Third-party service outages (phone carriers, internet providers)
  • Force majeure events
  • Issues caused by your equipment or network

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ALF Connect shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, or data
  • Damages exceeding the fees paid in the last 12 months
  • Errors or omissions in AI-generated responses

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ALF Connect from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Content you provide to the Service

Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect, use, and protect your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or discontinue the Service at any time
  • Update features and functionality
  • Change pricing with 30 days' notice
  • Suspend accounts for Terms violations

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Fail to pay fees
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Use the Service in a manner that harms us or others

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
